Multimodality Imaging Center

All imaging procedures require a physician's order and are administered by license and board certified radiologist and licensed, certified health care professionals. Laurel Radiology Services is directed by a radiologist who works closely with the specially trained radiologic technologists and sonographers in the performance of each imaging procedure.

Laurel Radiology Services operates five (5) days per week, ten (10) hours per day.

Support services range from Board certified medical physicists with various degrees and Radiologic Engineers that are certified and have extensive training on all of the equipment used here at Laurel Radiology Services. The Radiologic Engineers maintain all equipment in top operating condition and the Medical Physicists provide physicist support to ensure radiation safety in all of our procedures.

Radiologic technologists are registered technologists who have passed a certification examination by American Registry of Radiologic Technology or the Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. Many of our technologists are cross trained and registered in multiple imaging modalities. Each technologist maintains continuing education credits by keeping abreast of the latest methods and procedures in their specific specialty thru attendance at seminars and reading journals.

The Radiologists here at Laurel Radiology Services have greater than seventy (70) years of combined clinical experience in the field of radiology and are all board certified.
